THE CHALLENGE
Our mission was ambitious yet straightforward: To create an irresistible brand capable of challenging perceptions and encouraging people to invest in a product often overlooked as a pay-to-use service: a browser app. Lumen sparked a transformative movement across Germany, pioneering a brand awareness campaign that shed light on the true costs of the "free" web and heralded the dawn of a brighter, more honest digital era.
THE IDENTITY
We designed the brand identity for Lumen with a high-contrast aesthetic inspired by the colors of the morning sky. The hero figure in the imagery symbolizes Lumen's mission to combat the darker side of the Internet. Typography blends a modern sans serif typeface with Caslon, honoring Lumen's commitment to cutting-edge technology and data security.
THE OUTCOME
Lumen brand ignited a conversation about fairness and transparency on the internet. Our dynamic awareness campaign reached over 10 million users, signaling a new era in digital browsing. Lumen offers a safer, brighter web experience. Thanks to Corina, Muhi, Inci, Alexei, Thomas and Björn for their incredible partnership on this project.
